All You Need to Know About Dental Bridges

You’re not alone if you’ve ever lost a tooth due to injury, decay, or other dental issues. Tooth loss can happen, but it doesn’t have to mean a lifetime of discomfort or self-consciousness. Dental bridges are a fantastic solution to restore your smile and improve oral health.

A dental bridge is a prosthetic item that fits the gap created by one or more missing teeth. It bridges the space between the remaining natural teeth or dental implants. Dental bridges are custom-made to look like your natural teeth’ color, shape, and size, ensuring a seamless and natural appearance. Check Dental Bridge Beverly Hills services, and don’t forget to book a session with us.

Advantages of Dental Bridges:

  • Restored Aesthetics: Dental bridges provide a natural appearance, improving your smile and boosting self-confidence.
  • Improved Chewing and Speech: Bridges restore proper biting and chewing functions, allowing you to enjoy your favorite foods and speak clearly.
  • Preservation of Adjacent Teeth: Unlike removable dentures, dental bridges are fixed in place, so they do not require alterations to adjacent healthy teeth.
  • Prevention of Teeth Shifting: A dental bridge inhibits the adjacent teeth from shifting into the space created by the fallen tooth, which can lead to bite problems and misalignment. If you need dental services, consider checking the Dental Crown in Beverly Hills, and don’t forget to book a session.
  • Long-Lasting Solution: With good care and maintenance, dental bridges can last many years, providing a durable and cost-effective solution.

Getting a dental bridge involves several steps:

  • Initial visit: Your dentist will closely check your oral health, discuss your options, and create a treatment plan.
  • Tooth Preparation: The adjacent teeth (abutment teeth) will get reshaped for a traditional bridge to accommodate crowns. Impressions will be taken to create the bridge. Book a session with Dental Crown Beverly Hills for dental crowns, and let us restore your smile.
  • Temporary Bridge: While your permanent bridge is fabricated in a dental lab, you may receive a temporary one to protect your teeth.
  • Bridge Placement: Once the dental bridge is ready, your dentist will replace the temporary bridge and cement the new one.
  • Final Adjustments: Visit Dental Bridge Beverly Hills dentist to make any necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit and bite.

Good maintenance is crucial to the longevity of your dental bridge, so it is always essential to have good oral hygiene. Always brush your teeth and bridge twice and floss them daily to remove plaque and prevent gum disease. In addition, visit your dentist for routine check-ups and professional cleanings. And don’t forget to eat a balanced diet and limit sugary snacks and beverages to protect your natural teeth and bridge. Dental bridges can be a life-changing solution for individuals with missing teeth. Consult with a dental bridge Beverly Hills dentist to determine if a dental bridge is the right option for you.

I can’t recommend Dr. Chemla enough. I came to him to help me with a severe front tooth chip. Not only does my repair look amazing and identical to my original tooth, but the entire experience was pleasant considering the work I got done. Dr. Chemla is extremely warm, kind, light hearted, and comforting as I was quite distressed about my front teeth. He was happy to explain each step in my repair and I never felt confused or unsure about the next steps. During the period of time that I had a temporary tooth, he made sure I knew he was always available if something happened and it came off. I also really appreciated how after every visit he would check up on me later that day with how the tooth was feeling/looking. On top of his welcoming demeanor, he has been by far the best experience I’ve had with getting numbing shots and work done. He explains everything he’s doing and genuinely values you having a good experience. I used to dread getting numbed but after many painless visits to him, it wasn’t a concern anymore. As far as the work that got done, I genuinely cannot see a difference between my real teeth and the repairs. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or result!
